British Canoeing Paddle Discover Award - Kayak

p1060605

Our British Canoeing Paddle Discover Award covers all the skills you will need to pass the award. It's ideal for paddlers with a little experience or confident beginners who would like to focus on developing new skills on the river.

The course is based on the river at Tonbridge. It's a beautiful quiet section of the river and paddlers can enjoy kayaking past Tonbridge Castle and round the island. We use Wavesport Ethos crossover kayaks which are designed to be comfortable for adults (who are our main customer base) and have built in drop down skegs. These are ideal, allowing complete beginners to master all the basic kayaking skills needed to successfully complete the course in one day.

Minimum age of participants on this course is twelve.
