Private Eskimo Rolling Coaching
Due to popular demand we are now offering private eskimo rolling coaching for individuals or small groups of two or three people.
On our scheduled courses we take six people per session. On our Private Eskimo rolling courses we take one to three people. The cost of the session is shared between 1 to 3 people. If you can get together with a couple of friends, the cost of a private course is £80.00 per person. (The cost per person on our scheduled courses is £65.00 per person).
Cost of Private Coaching Sessions:
3 kayakers:
One and a half hours coaching by BC Level 5 coach, exclusive use of the pool and equipment : £80.00 per person.
2 Kayakers:
One and a half hours coaching by BC Level 5 coach, exclusive use of the pool and equipment: £120.00 per person.
1 Kayaker:
One and a half hours coaching by BC Level 5 coach, exclusive use of the pool and equipment: £240.00 per person.
N.B. Although we do offer 1:1 Private Coaching, please note that because learning to roll is both physically and mentally demanding, we would recommend you consider the 1:2 or 1:3 option if you are not sure whether your fitness level would allow you to get the best out of 1:1 coaching or just book on to one of our scheduled courses. Pool availability: The Bowles Centre pool availability is dependent on gaps in their own programme. We will do our best to fit in with a time and date that suits you best (subject to the above), but as a general rule, the pool is most likely to be free on Sunday mornings between 10.00 am and 11.30 am.
General information on our Eskimo rolling courses:
Venue: Bowles Centre, Sandhill Lane, Eridge Green, Tunbridge Wells. TN3 9LW
Kayaks are supplied, but if you would prefer to learn in your own boat (provided it is suitable), please feel free to bring it along. The only proviso is that your boat must be spotlessly clean before entering the pool.
We are often asked "how long will it take me to learn to roll?"
Their is no simple answer to this since everyone is different but in our experience, most paddlers will need two or three sessions to master the basics of the technique.
Please feel free to download the article below which gives useful background reading before attending a course.

How to arrange a Private Eskimo Rolling Coaching Session:
Let us know a suitable date(s) that work for you, (preferably a Sunday morning between 10.00 am and 11.30 am since this is when the pool is most likely to be available). We will then contact the Bowles Centre to check whether the pool is free on that date(s). If it is, we will provisionally reserve the pool for you and email you a link to our website so you can book on the course(s). If it isn't free, you are of course most welcome to book on one of our scheduled courses. Just click on this link for details: https://www.scamellcoaching.co...
