Eskimo Rolling Course

Our eskimo rolling courses are designed for paddlers who wish to learn to roll a kayak for the first time, or who wish to improve their rolling technique. We use the indoor heated pool at the Bowles Centre just south of Tunbridge Wells for these sessions.

We can take a maximum of six people on each session, and aim to have two BCU qualified coaches for each session. Most people will master the basics of eskimo rolling on the first session but we recommend booking two sessions to give yourself the best chance of really mastering the technique.
Kayaks are supplied, but if you would prefer to learn in your own boat (provided it is suitable), please feel free to bring it along. The only proviso is that your boat must be spotlessly clean before entering the pool.
