British Canoeing Explore Award - Kayak

12th October 2019 10:30 - 15:30

Our British Canoeing Paddle Explore Award is designed to give paddlers the skills and knowledge necessary to become an independent paddler in their own right. It's aimed at paddlers who have completed the British Canoeing Discover Award and/or have the relevant experience.

To ensure we can provide the highest quality coaching, we only take a maximum of four people on this course and it is led by Grant Scamell - British Canoeing Level 5 Coach.

The course is based on the river at Tonbridge. It's a beautiful quiet section of the river and paddlers can enjoy kayaking past Tonbridge Castle and round the island. We use Wavesport Ethos crossover kayaks which are designed to be comfortable for adults (who are our main customer base). You are welcome to use your own kayak if you have one.
