BCU 1 Star open canoe course

This course is offers a great introduction to tandem open canoeing. It follows the BCU 1 Star syllabus and covers all the basic stokes needs to successfully paddle an open canoe on flat water. Open canoeing is ideal for solo or tandem paddlers and is a great way to introduce partners or the family to the simple pleasures of canoeing on the river. Because of their carrying capacity they are also excellent for camping trips if you wish.
