British Canoeing Paddle Explore Award - Open Canoe

Venue:    Hampstead Ln, Yalding, Kent ME18 6HG

Our British Canoeing Paddle Explore Award is designed to give paddlers the skills and knowledge necessary to become an independent paddler in their own right. It's aimed at paddlers who have completed the British Canoeing Discover Award and/or have the relevant experience.

You will have an opportunity to paddle both tandem and solo open canoes including the new Silverbirch Firefly 14. Silverbirch Firefly The course covers the relevant British Canoeing theory and all the practical elements of the award including cross deck bow rudders, sculling draws and rescues.

Minimum age of participants on this course is twelve.
